T-ball Practice

Brooks went to his 1st Tball practice a week ago. He needed some work :) Jason bought Brooks a T this weekend. After about an hour of practice he's got the hitting down and he's a pretty good fielder too :) I think a few more practices and we'll be looking at a PRO!

What's up with Brooks

Brooks is taking swim lessons two days a week and is doing great. He's also about to start Tball. We bought him a helmet this week and he just looks so adorable in it. Next month he will turn 4! As if I felt like Abby is growing up... now Brooks is going to be 4! The kids and I went to the zoo this week with each of their best friends... as if Abby can decide on a best friend :) Brooks had a BLAST. Him and Knox flew kites at the park, ran through the zoo, and had a picnic. So much fun.

Abby turned 1!!!

I know it's been a few weeks since her birthday but... gosh I am still in shock that she is already ONE! It feels like this year flew by. She had a wonderful little cupcake themed birthday party here at the house. My mom and I stayed up all night baking her birthday cake and all the cupcakes. She didn't do the typical cake dig in. She wanted nothing to do with getting dirty. Savannah started giving her some with a fork and she ate a little that way. She got a ton of wonderful gifts, some really pretty outfits, and lots of things to keep her busy. Poor little girl broke down right before she opened gifts. She had to go down for a nap and poor thing woke up with a stomach bug. All and all she had a great birthday!
